controversy and disagreement

  • stephen avatar

How does UpTrust handle inquiry? With only a few exceptions, it seems to me that the posting/commenting here tends toward making and responding to statements. Is there an implicit/explicit cultural value around making (controversial) statements on UpTrust?

Are questions more / less / equally as valuable as statements?

What makes questions trustworthy or untrustworthy?

What does it mean to uptrust or downtrust a post that’s mostly an inquiry?

How could questions and inquiry become a sincere avenue for bridging silos?

i personally love this reflection, and I felt @blas was asking for more inquiry too. I’d love to see us bring more inquiries and test it out. I wonder, is there something that keeps us from asking questions or inquiring openly? Is it limited to UpTrust? Is it everywhere?...
